This one-day workshop will focus on the use of PLAXIS 2D for tunnelling applications. The main goal of this workshop is to teach the concepts and practical use of the most relevant PLAXIS 2D features for tunnel modelling. The participants will get acquainted with the use of PLAXIS 2D by doing elaborated and well-documented hands-on exercises. During these exercises, individual assistance will be provided by experienced Plaxis tutors. The course is tailored towards practitioners in the industry with some previous experience using PLAXIS software.
The workshop consists of one single day and will be held in English by a Senior Plaxis Engineer exclusively. Course attendees are expected to bring their own laptop with the appropriate version of PLAXIS installed on it (PLAXIS 2D 2017.01). This software version will be sent to all participants once they will have registered. A temporary hardware key will also be provided to all course participants for the entire event duration such that they can properly run the proposed hands-on exercises.
